These Terms and Conditions (the “Terms”) govern your use of www.world-x.com (the “Site”), which is owned and operated by World‑X Global Inc. (“World‑X”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). All information provided on the Site is general information only.

By accessing or using the Site, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the Site.

Content on the Site is for general information only and does not constitute legal, financial, investment, tax, accounting, or other professional advice, nor does not constitute an offer, solicitation, or recommendation. While reasonable efforts are made to provide accurate, complete, and current information, content may not always reflect the most recent developments and is subject to change without notice.

THE SITE AND ALL CONTENT ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE”, WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, whether express, implied, or statutory, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non‑infringement, availability, reliability, or accuracy. We do not warrant that the Site will operate without interruption, delays, failures, or errors, that defects will be corrected, or that the Site or its servers are free from harmful components.

Your use of the Site is entirely at your own risk.

2. Information Collection.

When you visit the Site, certain technical and usage information may be collected automatically through logs, cookies, pixels, analytics tools, or similar technologies. If you submit the Contact form, we collect the information you provide (including name, phone number, email address, selected industry sector, and your message), together with basic anti‑spam verification (e.g., skill‑testing question) used to protect the Site. Any personal information collected through the Site is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated by reference into these Terms. Where a collection notice is presented at the time of collection, that notice also applies.

3. Intellectual Property

All content published or made available on the Site is the property of World‑X or its licensors, including without limitation: text, images, graphics, logos, documents, downloadable materials, design elements, layout, and underlying code.

If World‑X believes you are misusing the Site or violating these Terms, we may limit, suspend, or terminate your access and pursue any legal remedies available.

When you submit an inquiry or request a consultation through the Contact page, you may provide personal information such as your name, phone number, email address, industry sector, and a message to World‑X. You agree that:

  • the information you provide is accurate and not misleading;
  • you will not include confidential, proprietary, or sensitive information (e.g., account numbers, government IDs, health information) in your message; and
  • your submission does not contain unlawful, infringing, defamatory, or otherwise objectionable content.

You understand and agree that your inquiry is non‑confidential and is provided for the purpose of enabling World‑X to review and respond. No client, advisory, or professional relationship is formed by submitting an inquiry or by our response. Any engagement with World‑X will require a separate written agreement executed by the parties.

6. Third‑Party Services.

The Site may contain links to, embed, or rely upon third‑party websites, platforms, tools, or services (“Third‑Party Services”). Your use of Third‑Party Services is subject to their own terms and privacy practices.

World‑X does not control, endorse, or assume responsibility for Third‑Party Services and is not responsible for any damages or losses arising from your use of them.

7. Limitation of Liability.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, World‑X and its directors, officers, employees, agents, subsidiaries, and affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or business interruption, arising out of or related to your use of (or inability to use) the Site, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. In all cases, liability will be limited and excluded to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for fraud, willful misconduct, or any liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

8. Indemnity.

Except where prohibited by law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless World‑X and its founders, directors, officers, employees, agents, subsidiaries, and affiliates from any claims, losses, damages, liabilities, costs, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of:

  • your use of the Site; or
  • your breach of these Terms.

9. Electronic Communications and Notices.

By using the Site, you consent to receive communications from World‑X electronically, including notices, updates, disclosures, or other information posted on the Site or sent to an email address you provide.

You are responsible for ensuring your contact information is accurate and up to date.

By submitting an inquiry, you consent to receive communications from World‑X related to your request (e.g., follow‑up questions, scheduling, and responses) at the contact details you provide. You may withdraw consent at any time, subject to legal or contractual restrictions and reasonable notice.

10. International Use.

If you access the Site from outside Canada, you are responsible for complying with all local laws and regulations. World‑X makes no representation that the Site is appropriate or available in every jurisdiction.

11. Force Majeure.

World‑X will not be liable for any delay or failure to perform resulting from causes beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, power outages, labour disputes, internet failures, cyberattacks, or governmental actions.

12. No Client Relationship.

Viewing the Site or communicating with World‑X through the Contact page does not create a client, advisory, fiduciary, or professional relationship. Any services will be governed exclusively by a separate written agreement.

13. Applicable Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein.

14. Dispute Resolution

If you and World‑X cannot resolve a dispute through informal discussion, then:

  • these Terms and any dispute arising out of or relating to them or the Site will be governed by the laws of British Columbia, without regard to conflict‑of‑law principles; and
  • the courts of Vancouver, British Columbia will have exclusive jurisdiction and venue.

You waive any objection to such jurisdiction and venue.

15. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, that provision will be deemed severed and the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.

16. Changes to These Terms

World‑X may amend these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in law, technology, or Site operations. Updated Terms will be posted on the Site. Your continued use of the Site after the updated Terms are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. World‑X may also notify users by email where appropriate.
