We collect, use, and disclose personal information in accordance with British Columbia’s Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA) and other applicable laws. “Personal information” means information about an identifiable individual, excluding business contact information used to contact a person at their place of work.

The purpose of this Privacy Policy is to explain what personal information may be collected when you visit www.world-x.com (the “Site”) or contact us, and how that information may be used and protected.

Scope

This Policy covers personal information collected automatically when you visit the Site and voluntarily when you contact us (including Request a Consultation, Launch Notifications and our Contact form).  It does not cover information collected in the course of any separate written engagement, which is governed by the applicable agreement and notices.

We collect information about your visit through audit logs and cookies (and similar technologies). If you submit the Contact form or otherwise reach out to us, we collect the information you provide so we can respond to your inquiry.

What personal information is collected?

A. Information collected automatically (visit to Site)

  • Technical and usage data (e.g., IP address, device and browser type, operating system, pages viewed, referring/exit pages, timestamps and general location inferred from IP).
  • Cookies and similar technologies (e.g., pixels, tags) used for basic functionality, security, and analytics.

B. Information you provide directly (Contact / Request a Consultation)

  • Name, phone number, email address, and industry sector and your message to World-X.
  • A simple skill-testing question is used as an anti-spam/captcha check.

Please avoid including confidential, proprietary, or sensitive information (e.g., government IDs, financial account numbers, medical information) in your message.

Why is personal information collected and how is it used?

We collect and use personal information to:

  • Understand general user trends at an aggregate level and improve website performance, functionality, and maintenance.
  • Operate and secure the Site, including preventing spam and abuse.
  • Respond to and manage inquiries / consultation requests and communicate with you.
  • Comply with applicable laws, enforce our Terms and Conditions, and protect our rights, users, and the public.
